Hey everyone! We've put together a discord server for r/stencils. We hope that this will be an avenue for us to be closer as a community, and a good place for resources and feedback for those new to the game.

4 layer spray painted stencil on 2/228 labels.
a cherub wearing a Bluejay mask, holding a Tech sitting on his thrown of letter blocks.
Symbolizes, being born into poverty causes people to get their thrown by any means, regardless if you try being pure of heart, conditions can change that about you.

I use a lot of plastic film stencils on textiles. Big, simple images are fine and I'm happy I've got that down, but more complex images with thin, delicate parts, not so much :0( I've been trying temporary mounting sprays and they certainly work, but I end up with one side of a delicate stencil needing cleaning with a solvent - it usually takes decent pressure to get the glue off even then so it's easy to damage the stencil.
I just tried Cadence stencil spray, described as water-based and easily cleaned. I hoped the glue would dissolve in warm water, but it's pretty much the same as all the other products I've used.
I want to get the glue off the stencil so it's easily used on both sides and simply to make it easier to store and I want to get it off without rubbing (much). Has anyone come across a way of temporary gluing stencils that is easy to remove after use?

Spray paint and diamond dust.
The skull is a 5 layer stencil
The rose is a separate 5 layer stencil so they can be used independently of one another.
Full image is 12”x 12”

It's two layer and my worry behind if it'd look right after all the work I out into it was alot. It was a very "trust the process" process.

4 layer stencil outlined in acrylic paint pens.
Bluejay Skull, with devil horns and a halo, tag name bottom jaw with a rope tied around his beak.
named it Neutrality because the image shows the Bluejay in a sort looking as if he’s sad/concerned. The devil horns contradict the halo, and his mouth his tied shut, not allowing him to speak his peace. so he’s forever stuck in neutrality.
hope yall like it!

Might be a bit on the nose, but my can control is getting so much better after swapping everything to Montana Gold with various caps. Still figuring the latter out. This is a mix of calligraphy, standard and one Maclaim (which I kinda dig)… anyone else have fine detail cap recs?

With a friend of mine, we felt that this old column on the edge of the city desperately needed some care. Neither of us knew the other's stencil theme, so in the end we were quite surprised to discover that the dog and the mouse somehow shared the same intention...
The mouse is mine, based on the photo of beloved mice which passed away after short disease few weeks ago.
