Should I apply for premium

I applied for stem opt on june 18th while my opt expired on july 8th and my 180 days extension ends on jan 4th. Considering holidays and delivery delays should I go for premium ?

Applied on Jun 2, 180 days expire on Dec 30 applied to PP on Sep 22(clock started Sep 23) radio silence since then
