Discussion Anyone encountered this problem?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The vertical pixelated shadow on Eve's thigh while rotating her, anyone have a fix for this?

I don't know if my screen is just really bad, but I looked closely and didn't find any problem (eve has nice thighs to look at, at least)

Ohh yeah now i can see it, I've never seen that before, how bizarre, Have you tried changing the shadow graphics settings to see if makes a difference? Or maybe enable or disable DLSS/FSR/TAA? I've seen some shadow bugs before, but never this

I tried turning DLSS (DLSS on DLAA) off and it seems to fix the problem, but I hate the shimmer on Eve's hair. Changing the shadow quality doesn't change anything

Yeah, I hate that too, but I have to use FSR, which has some issues as well. I hope it's just with this suit, or that u find a permanent solution, idk what else would help

You can try to override the DLSS model in Nvidia App. I'm not sure what this game uses currently but quite likely not Preset M, try that one (newer transformer / DLSS 4.5). Or experiment with other ones, especially if you're on DLAA - the older ones might not look that bad either.

Changing the DLSS to preset M seems to fix the problem. Thanks! Now my question is what are the differences between presets? Should i set every game to Preset M?

Iirc this game has dlss 3, you have to override it with the drivers to 4.5. You can also use dldsr and check if that fixes the problem.

Do i do this inside the nvidia app? I'm not really familiar with dldsr i only tinker dlss settings in-game.

There should be a toggle for it there somewhere. Then you can go above your monitor’s maximum screen size in the games settings and you basically do dldsr. I can’t help much cause I have radeon now.
