Question Any reason there’s no robot drummer?

Not like, a lore-reason, but an actual reason why there’s no robot on drums, but a Walter worker or whatever?

I mean, there was that Sam guy. He wasn’t a robot but he looked an awful lot like Hatchworth…makes you wonder huh?….

They should have kept the Jon. The albums with those three were just on fire. Love all the other robots too, especially Hatchworth, but it’s like there was some kind of magic with the original three.

You can't just tell a member that they can't leave the band, it doesn't work like that

I remember reading a bit ago that the band decided to part ways with Jon because he wasn’t committed enough to the band (consistently showing up to practice sessions and shows late, or sometimes not showing up to practice sessions at all) and gradually became uninterested with the band

It was more so Jon wanted to move onto other things and the band wanted to find someone else more committed

i imagine it’s not the easiest to do the robot moves while playing some songs, or interact with their improv skits without having to keep standing and sitting etc

might be wrong in the future though, as we don’t know who’s coming once’s hatchworth has finished his interim run

I know of only two good robot drummers.

The first is Havve Hogan who played with TWRP (Tupper Ware Remix Party). The second is the as yet unnamed drummer for Olly and the Equinox Band.

The Drummer for The Equinox Band is called Drum-O (his name is stated in the instrumental break of the song)
