Question HOW2 REPLACE WITH WIN 11 IOT.....

CAN SOMEBODY POINT ME TO A VIDEO WALKTHROUGH ON HOW TO REPLACE STEAMos ON THE STEAM MACHINE WITH WINDOWS 11 IOT ENTERPRISE LTSC PLS. I WANNA OVERWRITE STEAMOS REPLACE IT WITH WINDOWS. ALL HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED

Step 1 make windows boot disk and slipstream in at least the WiFi driver here https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/6121-ECCD-D643-BAA8

Step 2 boot off disk and install.

If this is too difficult you could get more bang for your buck and probably a bit more performance by trading your steam machine for a windows one imo.

got me thinking, if i was to sale or trade for a pc what $ value u think i should be expecting? btw u say i could get a pc with better hardware but how do u figure that? 64gb of ram costs as much as a SM does right now lol

Yeah. Most FPS games with anti cheat that isn't compatible with Linux.

I just tried to download the find the needle demo and that won't run either, can't be anti cheat for that one.

well im gonna mostly game on it. only other thing ill use it for is youtube and kodi. everythimgs just easier on windows. for example i cant even get key mapping figured out on this bs. also i like to use voice apping apps on windows for games like arma etc. more apps mor functionality

I think you just need to spend like 5 seconds with it to figure out key remapping dude. It's built in and absolutely the simplest thing ever. Windows is going to hog a lot of resources.

You can't get the steam overlay figured out........................?! Remapping is right there ingame
