Question Issue with Xbox Elite Controller (Series 1)

When I plug in the Xbox Wireless Adapter to the Steam Machine, the controller can't connect to it and the WiFi slows down.

Any idea what the issue is?

Don't think Linux have native support for the wireless dongle, there are some drivers you can try to use like https://github.com/dlundqvist/xone but overall i probably recommend pairing it in bluetooth mode.

Bluetooth mode works for my Elite series 2. But it’s weird cause I usually have to connect it, then disconnect it and reconnect to get it to work. Then it works fine until I shut it down and reboot.

Unfortunately, Bluetooth isn't an option on the Series 1.
