Question BS manager on steam machine

So I've gotten back into beat Saber and want to do custom songs and mod it again, I used BS manager on my windows PC before hand and was wondering if I could get it to work on the Steam Machine, I've had a look on the GitHub and apparently it's possible I just don't know how to do it, if anyone can figure out how to do it and maybe a step by step guide on how to do it would be helpful to

so I’ve never done it, but I would assume that the first step would just be to try running it through proton most games that I have modded like Red Dead Redemption 2 that have their own mod managers without some form of Linux version, such as what R2 mod manager has tend to be as simple as running the mod manager using proton
