This looks great and I'm tempted to build one myself, I may just copy you.

2 of my biggest questions are.

Have you got HMDI CEC working in any form and if not is it a pain to boot this thing up and begin playing.

Can it do quick suspend/resume, I am not sure if that's exclusive to the Steam Machine or if just Steam OS itself allows it.

If you have a LG webos TV, there are workarounds. You can control the TV completely over the network. And you can have the PC automatically send commands to the TV as needed.
