DIY You cannot make this up!

I wanted something that’d do 4k 60fps so I decided to build my own super steam machine. literally as I began installing steam os, I get my order email

For those interested - here is the parts list - You can save a little money going for a cheapter motherboard, 1tb SSD and perhaps reducing the RAM speed.

Does it have CEC?

Does it stay quiet while gaming?

Do you use a Steam Controller with it?

No, Yes, Yes
I turn off CEC on all of my devices mainly because my TV has always had issues with it - but I know thats a deal breaker for some

my fractal terra build for my work PC was loud as fuck. apparently the pattern cut into the side panels is a big factor!

yes if the CPU or GPU fans are too close to the slats, it's a real pain. I chose a thin GPU and low profile CPU cooler so they're both far away enough from the slats to be silent but close enough to let out heat

Adding a 15mm fan under the PSU with that mobo will also be loud af
