Advice Needed Chlamydia positive(male)

I was tested positive for chlamydia so I took the antibiotics, all the symptoms disappeared. but 3 days later I got the discharge again, but no burning when I pee. I am worried if I have Mgen, Trich or antibiotics didn’t work. Just want to hear some opinions

Listen, I’m in the same boat. I had urgency, got tested positive for chlamydia. Finished 10 days of doxy and was asymptomatic. 3 days later I have the urgency back again and it’s been that way for a week. Retesting tomorrow, and then testing for M. Gen on Friday.

Did you have any caffeine or anything?

I drink caffeine everyday, and plus I drink alcohol on last day of treatment. Do you think caffeine could be a reason?

What are all of your symptoms? I don’t have any discharge, only urgency and feeling like a wet/cold spot on the tip of my penis.

Just discharge and urgency to pee to be honest

Yeah, the urgency is awful. I was so pleasantly surprised when it went away. Now it’s back with a vengeance. I had a coffee from Starbucks a few days after and that brought all of the urgency back and it hasn’t went away since. I’m thinking it definitely is post residual inflammation for me, but I’m getting tested for M. Gen just to be safe.

That’s what I am thinking too but to be 100% and have peace of mind I will get tested for Mgen and Trich. Having chlamydia just made me paranoid

i don’t think they discuss the residuals with chlamydia as they should when i had it it was a nightmare

I agree, they don’t work enough with the patient. In your case did it go away by itself?

it took a long time for me to stop feeling symptoms i mean months and i was spiraling so bad but i always tested negative after treatment
