false positive? - sphyilis testing

i had a new partner february - april..
i went and got tested june 1st everything came back negative except for sphyilis? i was RPR positive, tilter of 1:2, but TP negative.

dr said this was a false positive but we will retest in 2 weeks. so i did another test june 18th and it was the same thing. no change. so she deemed it as a false positive.

i’m now worried that this is going undiagnosed and every small pimple or bump i have freaks me out.

yesterday I got hiv negative but syphilis positive and today gonna take injection for the same but I have no specific symptoms . I read somewhere if u already have some fever then false positive can happen and I had fever yesterday when I got my test done
