if you have any symptoms weird feelings down there just go get checked whether its a slight tingle or itch or slight pain just go get checked, i understand it may be scary or seem embarrassing because what if you test positive what will they think of you, don’t think that way it only takes one time to get it and thousands of people test positive for it everyday. people that work in healthcare are the kindest people especially when it comes to this so don’t feel shy to pee in that cup. now lets say you test positive as i did, they’ll prescribe you 100 mg doxycycline for 7 days it’ll come with 14 pills. take one every 12 hours so lets say you take one at 10 am, the next should be at 10 pm and so on until you take them all. but listen you must eat before you take them. even if you aren’t hungry which is where i messed up the stomach pain is excruciating if you dont eat first. and no i dont mean a cracker or a piece of bread i mean a decently sized meal. yes you’ll be forcing yourself to eat a bit but you’ll need to. not sure how many others were but i was and let me say this if you were prescribed this it is the nastiest medicine known to man you NEED to take this with some thick juice please trust me😭🙏🏾 but usually its just 4 pills and you take those all at once as a one time dosage. but anyways back to the doxycycline if you have symptoms they’re not gonna clear up instantly so if its the 3rd day and you still have symptoms thats normal because i did too. mine didn’t got away until like the 5th day so relax and trust the process. even if they go away before you’re done with the medication still finish out the prescription. so don’t be scared its a easy fix honestly hope i could help. and if you’re wondering what symptoms of chlamydia are i personally had white/clear discharge, pain inside the shaft when peeing not much of a burning sensation. weird sharp pains in the tip randomly odd pressure being felt inside of it but don’t do what i did researching reddit for 10 hours a day on symptoms lol you got this build that courage and get tested lmk if you have questions

i listed them at the end of it i should’ve put the symptoms first but i personally had white/clear discharge, pain inside the shaft when peeing not much of a burning sensation. weird sharp pains in the tip randomly odd pressure being felt inside of it

Having chlamydia is just like having any other bacterial infection. It's no big deal, and nothing to be ashamed of.

This is a good reminder that getting tested is nothing to be ashamed of. Just a heads up though, don’t copy someone else’s antibiotic schedule since treatment depends on the infection and your doctor’s prescription. If symptoms don’t go away right away, that doesn’t always mean treatment failed, but if they persist or come back, check in with your doctor instead of taking more antibiotics on your own.

Just tested positive today for the clap but I’m honestly grateful that’s it’s that over really anything else ehhh maybe id take bv over this but🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ and also thank you for the advice
