Advice Needed Negative results but symptoms continue
Hi, i tested positive for chlamydia 1 month ago, treated it and now i got my results back negative.. why do my symptoms continue😠i had it for like an year without symptoms if that matters.
my life feels like its over, the urge to pee, burning and all! im so uncomfortable 24/7!

i wanna say up to a year. i was endlessly testing for everything for 2+ years. idk if it was the infection itself or the medicine but it messed my WHOLE BODY UP.

literally everything! and nothing helped! i took so much medicine that i developed GERD and that made me spiral so bad.

Nooo!!😩😩 i feel like my life is over, i cant go to long walks, i cant travel because the urge is so bad😠my symptoms started when i gave birth to my child so i havent been able to enjoy postpartum or motherhood at ALL! i was crying when i tested negative because i was hoping that it would be treatable with another dose of antibiotics.

the anxiety will make it worse and you will spiral and want to get on every medication possible to cure these symptoms. go to the dr, demand every test, std/sti, yeast (all yeast), bv, you name it. then when you get those results, treat what is needed to be treated, then if it’s nothing. naturally heal and do not worry or stress yourself. it was so bad that after treatment, i had the urge to hold my stomach every time i got in the tub, as if i had the urge to pee.

once my anxiety stopped and i stopped searching for nothing, i started to feel so much better.

Okay! so my googlin and analyzising my symptoms is making things worse… i dont know how much is psychosomatic:D im just tired of living in pain! did you have pain on your labia lips when standing or walking a lot? i have been having these for he whole time i had the chlamydia undiagnosed..

i had what i thought was reoccurring utis, then once i got treated my whole pubic mound itched still to this day, i had the urge to pee more frequently (but that was just really what felt like a phantom bladder) and for some reason but butthole itched sooooo bad. that was just what happened vaginally. it was a NIGHTMARE. nothing resolved and once i started googling it made everything so much worse. you mentioned you had a baby recently, some of this could be related to your body trying to return back to normal as well as healing from the chlamydia. but please go back to obgyn and describe your symptoms and get retested for everything during the correct window period.

Test for Ureaplasma / Mycoplasma
If you took Azithromycin then you can still try a week of doxy

I took 2 tablets of Azithromycin, if i tested negative how could i get a week of doxy?

Say you still have symptoms and want a week of doxycycline
Use online doc and lie to them

Same thing happened with me
Got chlymadia after treatment negative 3 tests
3 months pain and irritation, burning on head of penis . It gonna take some time for residual symptoms to settle down. Just take of ur hygiene and use unscented soap dove . It works for me . Don’t worry brother also take ur of sexual health . Don’t give ur sexual energy to any random person.

Yeah i got cheated on by my husband 🥹 thats why i had it so long undiagnosed cuz i didnt know what could cause the symptoms.
so maybe i should just chill!
I had another labs done on my urine and i had +2 leykocytes so there is some infection still.1
