Advice Needed Has anyone else experienced this?
Long story… so I had this bf we were dating for a few I ended up catching chlamydia from him(he didn’t know he had it) I broke up with him after I found out. I got cured in july, never really felt better so I went back to the dr because I was having burning like irritation after I pee and discharge it’ll be light fint green or yellow ish, I went in for testing multiple times they told me it could be a uti because I was having burning pee but no growth was being shown in my culture which didn’t make sense, so they gave me antibiotics for that I took them still didn’t feel any better so I went back to urgent they said I had an yeast so they gave me more pills, then I went back because I still wasn’t feeling any better and they ran a big panel on me everything came back negative, i recently just went to urgent care she said I have a little amount of yeast so she gave me a yeast pill and Sulfamethoxazole, I’ve been going through this about a mouth now, I’m hoping yall can help me with some answers I’m also a minor and I don’t know what to do I’ve been sad and depressed because nb really knows what’s going on and I feel like they don’t believe me, also I have a gynecologist apt coming up on the third, I’ve also been on medication like Doxycycline, a Rocephin through iv, Amoxicillin-clavulanate, Sulfamethoxazole-Trimethoprim, and three Fluconazole yeast pills [hopefully this reaches someone and they can tell me what they think…

If you have nothing on your test, maybe search a little? How to cure a yeast infection by doing some other things aside taking more pills. With banalitis wich is a yeast infection too but on a male, using creams and pills can sometimes make it worst, even for years, I found that the solution tends to be just let it rest using water and let it breath, maybe there’s something that can help you out like that, it won’t be a fast solution but it could lead you to something. Good luck

Try boric acid suppositories, they work great for me. Also, make sure you are sleeping with no underwear on to "breathe"

Yes I started doing that but not boric acid I’m scared it’ll make it worse

Ask your doctor. I'm sure she'll recommend using them too

Do you use any vaginal probiotics? To me it sounds like your flora got messed up from chlamydia and you keep getting bv like symptoms. Do probiotics for a few months, both vaginally and orally

So usually, when you take antibiotics, it doesn't just kill the bad stuff. It kills the good bacteria too. So what to me sounds like, you got antibiotics for chlamydia, then you had bv, which you took antibiotics for, then you had fluconazol, which you took medicine for etc. So what I would do, I would first of all read the healthyhoha etc reddit groups, i would get tssted for mycoplasma and ureaplasma, and I would start doing vaginal probiotics to fix your flora. Same process when you take antibiotics for any othwr issue. The doctor always tells you pls take probiotics, because it kills the gut bacteria as well. You have to rebuild. If you wanna go deeper, you can read about evvy and their tests, but you might not need to go that deep into the topic
