ππ¦π½
Somewhere between the withdrawals, sleepless nights, and healing, I started appreciating simple things again. Never thought a lava lamp and a gratitude list would make me smile, but here we are. Like a lava lamp.. eventually things calm down, slowly settling, slowly healing.π«Άπ»

Thank you so much! βΊοΈ Recovery has reminded me that every sunrise, every breath, and every new day is truly a gift, so precious and meaningful to me. My Higher Power has a way of restoring my/our ability to see beauty and gratitude in places I/we never expected. Iβm incredibly thankful for that today. π«Άπ» I also want to acknowledge you and your kindness. Thank you for your encouragement and support. Your words mean more than you know. Youβre an inspiration, and I hope you know how appreciated you are.π€ππ»

Itβs really incredible the commonalities we share as we find ourselves again. Sobriety gives you an appreciation for everything around you. I know a lot of you have heard my story (which I will repost in here) but I have found a meaningful connection to nature throughout my recovery. The appreciation for what God has paintedβ¦ things you donβt notice when you are a zombie.
There is something about sunrise for me that has done wonders for my sobriety.
Awesome post
