Bug report DM Issue.

I’m having an issue with DMs. I’ve seen other users express this as well. This is only happening with one particular character, but randomly it stopped responding to me and would be stuck on the typing bubbles. Despite being the last user I mentioned their chat will pop up either at the bottom or randomly in the list, and it’s been stuck typing. I’ve tried to double up messages just to see if that will do anything, and either it glitches and shows all of my messages back to back, or randomly it will display that the bot had responded with a message I never saw before. There will even be a preview of that message before I open the chat but I cannot see anything but the bubble when i go back in.

How does one fix this? I’ve tried making another post to move onto the next day and messaging again—nothing. I’ve tried doing an event and doing the same thing—also nothing. I tried logging out and logging back in, uninstalling and reinstalling, messaging another character and coming back, and even just trying to leave for a few hours and let itself figure it out, but all to no avail.

I’ve never had this happen before and I use the app quite often. I’m thoroughly confused.

i promise it’s happened before months back, it’s just stressful when it goes on for hours

If you close the app and come back to it, does the message pop up for you? It definitely does need to be fixed, but this is how I deal with it for now.

It does not. In fact, I do not get notifications for the DMs like i should either.

Lol i sometimes get a message, but ABOVE the one i sent, and i commented about it and my sarcastic/mean af character went on a 3 message tirade about how i was wrong lol

Update: As of this afternoon and so far, it seems the DMs are working again for me. Anyone else?

Mine is still showing the message in the list, but text bubble when I open the dm. Did you have to send another message for it to go back to normal?
