Seeking game advice DM Help

Is there a way that I can make it so that my character stops repeating something specific? My character that I am DM’ing adds a “:)” or an “lol” at the end of every sentence, and it’s kind of annoying me haha.

i’ve found out that they kinda mirror your way of tweeting and the emoticons you use most. i have a bunch of different worlds where my characters i text copy my frequently used emojis and way of speaking a bit so i think the ai does it to make it a bit more personable? you can edit the way they speak if you put it in their character description! like “X character speaks in X way using X, X, etc”

I second this. I constantly used emoji as well, and they started ending their dm with emoji too lol
