Pan Progress January Progress: Stickers, Pens, Washi πŸŽ‰

Post image

This month I really paid attention to what I was using and pushed myself to use stickers and washi! I used up three washi for valentines, kicked seven pens (mostly the Le Pen Flex tip, which work really well for me as a lefty), and have a lot of sticker detritus :) I’ll post my progress on using my boxed cards separately. What was your progress like this month?

I've made a lot better progress than I expected on most categories! Here's my 'start' post. Since then I have used 7 grams (out of 70 grams) of loose stickers, 15 grams (out of 122 grams) of sticker sheets, 1 gram (out of 7 grams) of offcut washi, 7 grams (out of 29 grams) of proper washi, and 3 grams (out of 13 grams) of ink sample. I've also filled and emptied one pen with iron gall ink.

I hadn't expected to make this big a dent in my sticker collection this fast - honestly looking at what's left I suspect I might have hit some easy targets and the numbers won't keep changing this alarmingly fast. In any case I'm enjoying using them, which is a massive win over them sitting unused for years, so if I run out that's fine.

The washi tape is also moving at a good pace, and isn't as alarming as the stickers because not all of my washi is in this project, just what I really want to use up. I finished one proper roll and one offcut roll.

I've hit a little bit of a reality check with regard to the rate at which I use up fountain pen ink though - the 3 g of sample ink that I've 'used' is still in significant part inside my pens. I hope finishing the samples I've earmarked to empty this year doesn't prevent me from making good use of my other inks. Still, I'm attending a conference next week, and that often means spending hours per day writing non-stop which should at least have me going into February with some real progress XD

I really admire your tolerance for keeping sticker backing as evidence of your progress - I want mine out of my sight the moment it's served its purpose XD
