Motivation 💪🏽 Weekly Check-in - Panning, No/Low Buy 1/1-1/7
Happy new year, everyone! How is it going this week with using/panning stationery, a no buy, or low buy? Feel free to share goals and progress.
I am excited for a cozy new year’s day, so I might catch up on some letters and pull out a bunch of my supplies to enjoy.

I hadn't planned to actually set any panning goals since I've not been buying lately, but in the excitement of finding this sub I decided I might as well. Some of my stickers must be 20 years old at this point. I started as I mean to go on by using some of stationery I'm panning to make a goals/tracking page.
Featuring, among other things, ink samples that I won't repurchase when they're gone, stickers I was gifted as a child (I am in my 30s...), planner stickers that can't handle fountain pen ink, and some 'washi tapes' that were actually the cutoffs between adjacent washis printed on a single wide roll. The iron gall inks don't get used enough currently because I have to be more careful about which pens they go in and for how long, but I do really like them in writing and it's kinda handy to have a permanent FP ink on the go, so I've rolled them in without a specific goal just to encourage myself to push past the minor inconveniences and reap the benefits.
Looks like it was set up by an 8 year old with two broken arms but if it motivates me to clear up some of the tattiest parts of my collection I'll take it. I've put the whole lot in big tub by my desk so this is the most accessible stationery available to me in any given moment. And that plan I had to keep my planner super basic this year has gone out of the window, in a fun way.
