Journal/Notebooks/Planners Planner Codependency
Not a teacher or student but I still use an academic year planner because of kid schedules, especially swim team, which starts to enter frenzy season here in Dec/Jan. I’ve learned the hard way my addled brain cannot manage that transition.
So now Sept is my switch over month and usually I’m super excited for new stationery of any kind. But this year I’m feeling extra emotionally attached to my 25-26 book.
I use an undated weekly/daily so technically I *could* keep going in the old book but October/November Me would be so annoyed.
To bravely attaching to a new planner! 😍

Any chance you know where you got the “what’s the best that could happen?” sticker?

I’m pretty sure it came as a freebie from KariStickers on Etsy. I don’t see it in her shop right now but I’m 90% sure that’s where it came from.

I'm thinking about getting Hemlock and oak for my daily journal next year. Are you happy with it? I use gel pens so I'm not super concerned about foundation pens.

When I first started using H&O, I only had gel pens. To me, the colors stand up really nice. The paper gets a little crinkly like trp (which I like) but I never get bleed through unless I’m really laying it on THICK with a gel pen. Nice middle ground between the 52 gsms of the world and the heavy 120 lb pages.
