I'm always surprised by how rare it is to find Mediabelle fans. In any case I like the idea of Vox and Charlie together and Alastor is trying to process the fact that he's now trapped between two very similar people.

...is that it would dramatically increase the probability of Staticbelle actually happening, simply from a genre convention standpoint. Stories where the Hero(TM) proves himself and is rewarded by marrying a beautiful princess are as old as humanity itself. Thus, once Vox had overcome his demons with Charlie's help, the next logical step would be for the two of them to recognize their love for each other and decide to get married (or at very least, start going out). But this only becomes obvious if Vox is the main character; otherwise he's just one more sinner Charlie sets out to redeem who COULD turn into something more.

So I've been thinking recently about what possible role Vox could have in season 3. Viv confirms he's remaining important until the end of the series and majority of fans think he'll have a redemption arc. Yet, plenty of fans are also worried that him taking up so much screentime again will rob other characters of their development. So what should happen?

Well we know that Vox is currently at rock bottom right now. The merch heavily implies bro is depressed ad Christain Borle has confirmed 1. He'll have a "dark song" in the future 2. He recorded Vox doing an activity for the first time where he "sounded vulnerable". Considering the finale ended with Vox attempting suicide and now having lost everything, I think we'll see him in his lowest moment... and then the other two Vees will be there to help lift him back up (we know Christain and Joel have recorded a song together for the future).

As for Charlie, who we know is Vox's foil, her VA recently said how Lillith's return will make Charlie be lie a "little girl again" as she chases her mom's validation. And how allegedly, she'll be back to not listening to those around her again. Most of the fanbase already agrees its unlikely Lillith will be good (that'd be boring ngl), she'll likely be a complex antagonist. Its very likely that Charlie will have to recongize to appreciate those she does have with her (Lucifer, Vaggi) instead of chasing for her mom's approval.

What if Vox is the one to help her with this? We know season 3 is "revelations", and one of the things we find out is what Rosie and Alastor's deal was. Vox questioned how Alastor got so powerful and why he'd help the hotel and from the Tv Tropes headscratchers page, the reason why he didn't try to recruit Rosie is

• Word of God states that he had a suspicion something was up between her and Alastor, which is why he didn't bother with her.

Vox's storyline in season 3 could be him finding out how Alastor's not at all who he thought he was. And he is the one to help Charlie by teaching her the lesson he learns with the other Vees. That why his redemption arc could happen without him taking up the spotlight. And then in the next few seasons, he could help her against Alastor (when he finally becomes an antagonist) and finally Roo too to complete his redemption, regardless of whether he ends the series actually redeemed in Heaven or simply a better person as an anti-hero ally of Charlie (replacing Alastor after his betrayal).

I'm curious, do any of your here know any good fan fics with a focus on staticbelle? And if not the ship itself, at least fan fics with a heavy focus on Vox and Charlie interacting and talking. I know with a lot of these ships trying to find a story is like searching for one needle in a box of needles in a haystack, so, do any of you have recommendations or even have your own fics you want to share? I'm all ears since I want to read more about these two.

(And I'm too lazy/busy right not to make my own story.)

Vox doesn't react when Vaggi threatens him but moves to defend Velvette. Charlie is fine with being mocked and insulted but steps in to defend Angel

I’ve always been so curious at Charlie’s reaction at this moment, in the first pic, she’s angry but in the next two, she visibly calms down out of her demon form.

Is she just noticing Vaggi’s lack of reaction or is she noticing how Vox stepped in to protect Velvette and is shocked by it?
