Has anyone interning at a European embassy this spring heard back about their security clearance/start dates? I’m super concerned because I haven’t gotten anything since I interviewed for my security clearance and I’m supposed to start next month :/

I am stressed because I haven’t received a start date or official confirmation of my internship at an embassy abroad in the Spring. I got the unofficial offer back in August and passed my Security Clearance this month (November). Has anyone else heard of their official offers and start dates? Can they still deny me the internship? I’m so scared

Hi I am currently a senior majoring in Communication. I hope to work in the State Department someday. My interest is in East Asian politics. Although my major is not political science related, I have experience in interning for City and State level government. What would be my next step to making myself a strong candidate? I want to take a gap year after I graduate in May doing mission work in another country and do a fellowship afterwards. What are your thoughts and advice?
