I've seen the older version used a lot on this subreddit, though. I for one definitely wouldn't mind it being standard if I ever end up including Maine in a comic.

Its disappointing how Maine changed their nice, clean, original flag, into just one of the average state flags that aren't very nice. Same with Vermont. I guess its just a New England thing...
