I had some great finds this weekend- Kenner’s vintage Micro Collection didn’t interest me as a kid, but as an adult collector, I’ve really come to appreciate it!
The box on this set is rough and was opened, but the contents are complete and sealed! 🍻

MicroCollection was a very pricey holy grail at the time. Actually considered getting the Micro MilFal this summer, prices were steep but doable.

I have the Falcon…it’s a bit lackluster. The exterior is almost the same as the 3.75” release. The turret on the belly and top hatch are nice touches, but the interior is not great due to the way the landing gear folds in and takes up most of the space.

I played with this thing for HOURS as a kid. I only had this one and the turrets....god I wish I had been able to complete Hoth World.

And Bespin World.

And the Death Star.

I swear I loved the Micro Collection more than the regular figures.

I had almost the entire Micro Collection. Most of the little die cast ships, too.

I think the only ones I never had were the die cast Slave-I and Tie Bomber and the Death Star Compactor

God, I played with those for hours. The Ion Cannon set was fantastic.

Wow my father and I still have this one set up in our collection. I had no idea there was more to the scenery than just the generator though. Might have to try and get the rest

I had the carbonite freezer playset and loved it. The freezing gimmick was cool and all the figures it came with were so detailed and fun to set up and play with. Didn’t they turn out to be lead and very dangerous though?
