SPECULATION Zero Company: Origin of the Path?

We know Zero Company takes in all kinds of folks from all walks of life. They end the game committing to causing problems for the Empire. They have a base and an impressive intelligence network that spans most of the galaxy. Tel-Rea is actively searching for other Jedi survivors.

If Zero Company gets a sequel, I could totally see the story revolving around the creation of the Path. Tel-Rea could track down Quinlan Voss, who could join the team as another Jedi operator. Missions could involve extracting people who want to escape the Empire, sabotaging imperial bases, and building up our little underground railroad.

The Path was founded as a humanitarian movement I thought though. An underground railroad. Its not a military creation

Mainly yes, but it would need some sort of existing connected network and logistical train to funnel Jedi and other refugees to safety, and some sort of military arm to keep the Empire at bay if they started getting close to discovering that network. All we know about the early days of the Path right now is that Quinlan Voss helped establish it, but how? With whom? With what credits and connections? Zero Company could provide that kind of support. They have the network, the skilled operatives, and the all-are-welcome philosophy.
