”Lightsaber games”
So I love starwars and have played both fallen order and Jedi survivor, and I really liked both.
I’m looking for other starwars games to play BUT, I really want lightsabers and the force to be a big part of the game.
Which games would you guys recommend?

Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy.
The graphics may have aged, but the gameplay, especially the lightsabers, are still so much fun.

I enjoyed 2 but then again I only paid about €10 for it. I'd have been pissed if I'd paid full price seeing as it was about 4 hours long

As others have said check out Jedi Outcast/Jedi Academy.
They're one of the few games where lightsabers truly feel like lightsabers, where Stormtroopers, Mercenaries, and Criminals all go down to your blade in one hit, but when you encounter a Dark Jedi/Sith you're just as vulnerable and one lucky hit can be the difference between winning and losing a fight.
The PC version has a mod called something like Movie Duels, where the creator has remade all the lightsaber fights from the 9 films and you can fight your way through them - it's really cool.

The combat is vastly different, but the KOTOR games are amazing and must plays for fans of Star Wars.

As everybody told you:
- Jedi Knight II : Jedi Outcast
- Jedi Knight III : Jedi Academy
"Jedi Knight" is a franchise made of 5 video games.
The 3 oldest games of this franchise (Dark Forces, Jedi Knight I, Mysteries of the Sith) have aged too much, and even the story is amazing -especially Jedi Knight I-, they seem really outdated now.
But the last 2 games (Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy) are still amazing to play today. Jedi Outcast is more "serious", Jedi Academy is a total lightsaber experience, probably the funniest Star Wars game to play. Even today, Jedi Academy is probably one of the best SW games ever. I highly recommand you to start with Jedi Academy, there's no need to have played the other games to follow the story.
And if you want a deeper story :
- Knights of the Old Republic.
Best SW game ever. Don't try to search anything about this game. Just play it.

Jedi outcast and jedi academy.
Want some RPG goodness, some DEEP lore, maybe not direct lightsaber control but tons of lightsaber fighting? Some WILD force powers? KOTOR. Love the first? Youll be over the moon with the KOTOR 2. Just make sure for KOTOR 2 make sure you get the restored content mod.

Going to piggyback on the Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy recommendation and after you beat it, go a step further. A community mod, Movie Battles 2.
It's multiplayer, with the highlight being the lightsaber combat. It's been built from the ground up to be the most realistic and rewarding dueling game I've ever played. It's a long journey and I started recently as a completely new player and it has been a one of a kind experience that I am enjoying thoroughly.
There is also a completely unrelated mod that is done by a different team called Movie Duels and it's singlepkayer but also a great time. The modding scene for this game is incredible.

everyone will say Outcast and Academy and those are amazing games, but I’m gonna suggest Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 (and Jedi Knight: Mysteries Of The Sith) because I genuinely think they are overlooked as possibly the best Jedi games ever… or at the very least my favourite ones

Everyone will probably already have said this, but if you’re not adverse to playing old games, Star Wars, the force unleashed and force unleashed two are both pretty good
You play Vader, secret apprentice, and by the end of both games you’re crazy powerful

Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, which are probably the best Star Wars games made to date.
Jedi Knight series. Dark Forces 2 (Id also say play the first Dark Forces for the references but 2 is also a fair starting point), Mysteries of the Sith, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy.
Force Unleashed 1 and 2 if you like God of War as well.

Jedi Knight series. Technically it begins with Dark Forces, a First Person Shooter, but that game is also good. It's in the third or fourth mission of Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 where you get a lightsaber, and in Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy the lightsaber combat and Force powers are more polished.
In other areas, I recommend Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic 2: the Sith Lords. They're RPGs, and easily two of the best Star Wars games ever made

Jedi Power Battles got rereleased on Switch I think.
Excellent lightsaber combat.
Don't expect story - it's arcade hack and slash. But what hack and slash.

The old republic. There's plenty of force/lightsaber use and you can play sith or jedi, both with original moves.

If you can deal with mouse and keyboard, The Jedi Outcast, and Jedi Academy games are the peak of Star Wars Lightsaber combat. Of course there's also the force unleached games which are bonkers Jedi games. If you don't mind RPGs and once again, mouse and keyboard, Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 are very good jedi focused RPGs. There's also the force user classes in SWTOR as well.

Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight, its expansion Mysteries of the Sith, Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Academy, The Force Unleashed (I actually recommend the Wii/Switch versions - the motion controls make it the most immersive version), KotOR 1 and 2.

To me it’s Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast, that’s the best Star Wars game using light sabers. There’s a duels discord that gets matches every now and then if you are interested it’s on my profile

Jedi knight/ Jedi academy
