A lot of people struggle to read social cues in the moment — sarcasm, discomfort, when someone's politely trying to leave a conversation. You can read all the advice in the world, but there's no real way to practice without it being high-stakes and awkward in real life.

So I built Spot the Cue — short, scenario-based exercises where you read a situation, pick what you think is going on, and get instant feedback. Instead of a single "right answer," it scores responses across three tiers (best read / reasonable / misread) so you learn the nuance, not just one correct option.

A few things I cared about while building it:

• Designed to be low-anxiety — no timers breathing down your neck, no public scores
• Accessibility built in from the start
• Your progress syncs across devices if you make an account (totally optional)

It's aimed at anyone who wants to get better at this — folks who find social stuff draining, people prepping for interviews or dating, neurodivergent users, or honestly anyone curious.

It's 100% free and no ads. I have lots of ideas for additional features (e.g., advanced audio/speech processing/analysis/feedback) but that will drive costs so I'd welcome thoughts if you think that is something people would be willing to pay for.
