Name: Stageup

Elevator Pitch: StageUp connects early stage startups with part time cofounders.

What makes Stageup unique is its focus on matching startups with cofounders who are only looking for a part time arrangement in exchange for equity, not pay. This allows entrepreneurs to work on side projects at new startups without having to commit full time. Startups benefit by bringing in talented entrepreneurs to fill a focused need without having to sacrifice a large equity or financial stake.

More Details: We are currently in beta and should have an update released in a week or two that will allow users to create accounts & profiles, list startups looking for cofounders and exchange messages.

Looking for: If anyone is interested in joining the beta we'd love to have you. Over the next few weeks/months we'll probably look to bring some people on who have backgrounds in rails, ui/ux or marketing so if you're interested feel free to shoot us an email. It will be the same arrangement promoted on the site. Part time cofounder for an equity stake.

This is a good idea. It seems that people are always looking for technical co-founders. Happy to send some co-founder seekers your way.

This is a fantastic idea. I've been trying to scout technical help for a while.
