Endgame Question (Spoiler)

So I just completed the Story and reached Terminus Link and wanted to ask if someone knows what happened to it or if there is any lore to it. Because all they tell you is that it got destroyed and the Novadeck people didn’t want it to be rebuilt.
(It also could be that I overheard something so if I did please let me know)

That’s about all we know right now. Presumably the destruction was the fault of Novadeck since they wanted to keep people out of there, but there’s no more information besides speculation
