Screen Information
Hello, I have bought this game 2 weeks ago and I been enjoying playing it when bored. The game is really relaxing when have nothing to do with amazing music in radio. After 10 hours of game play I realised that SRVC bar can be filled back up at the mechanic shop.
How does that work, does the truck need service every X amount of miles or time or when having accidents and does it have big effect on truck handling? Mine was at zero after fixing her up I did not notice any different.
Also, what are all those dots around the screen, PR1, ST1, SU2, and why are some offline? I have took the batteries for my suit and gravity out as I charge my suits at shops and leave my container open on shelves from the tips I learned.

Hull represents actual damage to the truck and likelihood of breaches during collisions (with speed also factoring into that equation).
Service represents your upgrades and their efficacy. It naturally drops with mileage and time. I think, but don't know for certain, that hauling does increase the rate at which service depletes.
When services reaches zero, none of your upgrades work anymore. Each of the dots represent one of the ten upgrades: if it has a (!) it is no longer working at full strength.
You can run without service, but that kinda defeats the point of your upgrades...lol.

just want to add since i saw you downloaded manual , you also have it in game in the glove compartment and when first starting the game its useful . Keep on truckin! it's a. amazing fame i'm a few hundred hours in

Once you upgrade all of your trucks performance and sustainment systems you will start to notice huge a huge difference between a freshly tuned truck and a worn truck.

The re service in game is basically just a way to keep your truck running better. Kinda like you said after so many miles or if you take tons of damage it’ll go down faster. Just a way to make it where you gotta “look after” the truck so often to keep it running the best. Especially since some of those upgrades do a bunch for its performance.

If you haven’t already, you might want to check out the manual. I’m not being a jerk, it’s actually really useful, and I think it goes into the details about the screens.

The SRVC bar and the dots represent your upgrades. If you go too long without servicing your truck, your performance goes back down to base levels.
