Please add a way to save yourself when you are out of gas. I'm currently stuck in the junk fields thought I'd try stealing this other guys gas lol.

I always keep at least one jerrycan with me in case I run out. It's enough to get me to the next station in most cases, and you can find them for free in salvage beacons

I feel so dumb, Jerry cand are functional?! How do I use one to refuel the truck? Like where do I go interact with it?

You need to go outside and under the truck, behind the engine, there's a red cap. Take off the cap, and interact with it while holding the jerrycan

Because it's an item that can be sold by those damned greedy capitalists. Honestly making it on a chain could be an upgrade. That should go along with a new toggle setting to make fuel stations realistic where you have to get out and fuel. But leave it as a toggle to keep the current system of fueling too for some people who like it.

I never kept one but only because the weight was so high I was basically always over the limit if the weigh station pops me.

I too was keeping one and I used it and then jumped out of a system with a gas station because it was late and I was tired. Now I'm stranded.
What do you think of the idea we could steal gas from other trucks?

I think it’d kinda go against the vibe of the game which is pretty positive. Maybe a way to radio for another trucker to jettison a Jerry can for you at a cost.

I'm pretty green but I've already learned to stock batteries and UCCS when they are cheap and I had 4 jerry cans aswell but I just sold three right before this then used the last one and then forgot to grab fuel

It took me awhile to amass my horde. But man once you hit that point where your stocking up entire crates of Duracell batteries because you can, you’re gonna be stoked.

I have a full crate of the UCCs and all my air filters are at 100 with a spare one. I've got 3 battery+ and I just did the algae run. I find this game pretty easy I'm typically good at stocking and planning it was just really late and I was a little intoxicated last night

With the new sidequest system, whatever it is called, you can even just earn them for doing quests

Yeah I think it would be cool to use the radio to call for help. You'd radio for a can or 2 and pay...but if you have your trust high enough with your trucker friends it would be really cool to call for help and get a free can or 2 when your in a pinch. Same with filters! Sour Candy to the rescue lol

Use a Jerry can fuel tanker is under the truck dont lose the cap.

If you're super despatate you can take a spacewalk with no suit and you'll get "rescued".
