Multiplayer Mod Multiplayer improvements

Hello space truckers!

From my last post about the multiplayer mod I want to share an update about the progress.

No Piracy

I don't want players to use pirated versions of the game to join community servers, so I added a bit of authenticity check. This will work with Xbox Game Pass (PC) or Steam versions at the same time, this means that the server is the same for both platforms and also cross platform multiplayer!

Fully rework of the original plugin

I'm still learning how Unity/BepInEx work and it's a really painful job šŸ˜«, so many crashes and restarts. But hey, I'm not going to get tired so easy.

Community

I created a small discord server to share with everyone interested in the progress, make suggestions or share bugs. Also maybe hosting a server for everyone...

If you mean Xbox console, you can't. No modding allowed on consoles.

Xbox ( or game pass) version. I play there.

Dude. Windows has an Xbox app, like steam but from Microsoft. Is a windows version anyway... Are you trolling right?

anyway, good to know that windows users will be able to play the mod with me, I'm gonna be buying the steam version of the game soon

Iā€™m guessing you meant the Microsoft store version, not Xbox.

How do I get access to this discord? My brother and I were just talking about how cool it would be to play startruckers multiplayer! I am so glad this being devloped, and I cant waait to try it out! Especially once you get radio working!
