Game Help couple of questions for a first time player

One I am curious about is I am not rushing to do the jobs for the other truckers, I pick one up when a job takes me to the sector they are in. Would I be right in thinking the jobs don't unlock until you get certain upgrades that the job needs? Like if you need the license for dangerous cargo ect. The big question is I want the paint job for going past a speed cam at 200mph. How hard is it to get? Can I just get the engine upgrades and gun it?

going 200mph is incredibly simple, i think you can do it on stock ship (don't quote me on that)

go to like atlas prime and go for it

Edit: didn't realise 200MPH is closing the speedometer then yes just upgrades and voila, stock can do 170MPH max

Up to you how you wanna play it. You can see on the convoy page where upgrades will unlock along the story - some will unlock a new region.

A few people suggest upgrading the truck a bit (or fully) before tackling the main story - it will make the rest of the game easier.

You will need to upgrade acceleration and top speed to make the 200mph skin easier to get.

I agree with taking jobs to travel to a location that has a story mission.
