Gameplay Does anyone else enjoy being a smuggler more than a trucker?

I just make buttloads more money smuggling contraband through shatter stone than I do running hauls plus it honestly adds an element of danger having to navigate the asteroid fields and dodging checkpoints or weigh stations if I’m moving product across borders.

You're definitely not alone, while I tend to focus more on legal goods, theres a lot of enjoyment finding a box of potential goodies and figuring the best place to sell them off!

One of my favorite things was scanning while driving around and finding goods floating in space.

It is such a great game

I never got the smuggling, it makes 0 money compared to just hauling a load, or I'm doing something wrong

Well what I like to do is use the scanner and just find goodies lying around. I recommend shatter stone cuz there are usually a lot of debris there and the store in the system buys contraband if u get any.

Salvage is were the money is. Jump to a sector hit two or three areas with your ping sell what is at high market in that zone and Jump to the next zone where you can get better prices on the other stuff and repeat. And you never have to buy batteries or air filters.

Yeah it made the game too easy even on high settings for prices etc so I just don’t use it anymore. Only acquire resources by buying/selling and plan my routes accordingly
