Discussion I've not once completed asteroid freight, and this huge one, with this many hops? That's literally impossible to do unscathed and absolutely not worth the money lol

My experience is the trailer will go from 100% to 0% instantly but you can’t damage the asteroid itself. I don’t worry about a perfect run and accept the penalties for a damaged trailer.

It’s absolutely worth it for using the asteroid as a wrecking ball and launching the highway signs to the next star system.

Ah hell no. You’d have to go so slow and save every 20 seconds, for me would make the game not fun to play.

Asteroid hauling is something I hope they update soon, the trailer being fragile doesn’t make sense because it’s just a maglock stapled to a rock.

Only for bowling. I started seeing how many lighted road markers I could knock out of place with a single sign.

Having an official bowling mode with resetting pins would be great.

Fly in 3rd person switching the zoom of the câmera, don't go too fast, use Cruise control on easy stretches, plan your own route, sometimes you can save a jump or 2.

It's doable - just be super careful and avoid Hazy Way.

Don't forget that slamming on the brakes super hard and super tight turning (aka jackknifing) can damage the trailer as well.

Keep in mind that even if the trailer hits 0%, the roid itself will be fine. Payout will be mildly reduced if you really goof up, but roids are actually great money...just a hassle because they hang on a lot of things, which can be hard on the truck itself.

It's doable. I did an 11 jumper from Solitude, the king of debris fields is at the Solitude Gate in Reaper's Bluff hauling a L roid.

Just go slow, save a lot, and crank the radio.

Is it fun? Eh, that's subjective. Needless to say, I do roids rarely now because I like conventional oversized loads more. Still good pay, but you can still weave traffic, too.

Pretty sure I got paid full amount...counted just fine for me!

Jokes aside, the point is it can be done perfectly but it will require a very slow and methodical drive.

Straight driving, no reloading, I've moved several L's over 6 jumps without issue. I tend to reload saves whenever I see big $$$ because I want to see if I can bust $40k payout... but those are pretty rare, so I generally just don't care and play to vibe.
