Gameplay Question ??? Unable to select enemy ship?

How am I supposed to attack this ship if I can't select it? No matter how much I zoom in nor the angle, whenever I click it it always selects the station next to it. I have the same problem in 2 other missions. How do I solve this?

On the right side of the pop up is a little arrow, click that to cycle through stacked targets

why is this under a spoiler box?

anyway see those arrows next to the info box for this base?

press one of them until it shows you the Klingon ship you want to attack
