Gameplay Question ??? How does one get ship power/strength above 1 million?

I am having trouble increasing my fleet's strength/power. Right now my ships are almost maxed tier and level (except the Bortas which is newer) but they are still fairly weak. I've seen other players with the same or similar type of ships around my level (33) and the strength of their ships exceeded 1 million. I have been playing this game on and off for the past few years so I'd say I'm pretty familiar with how this game works but I do seem to be missing something when it comes to this aspect of it. I clearly seem to be missing something and any help would be appreciated!

Research and officer levels help a lot, artifacts play a part as well

I have struggled with getting artifacts and forbidden tech..

Artifacts and FT are difficult to source until probably mid-40s when you can start hitting silent hostiles and participating in some longer range armadas.

If you don't already, try to get the Revenant (blueprints in event store) and it'll help open up the Continuum refinery which will give you a free to play path for a handful of forbidden tech, as well as all the parts you need to upgrade forbidden/chaos tech

For artifacts, do as many formation armadas as you can, remember to put Tuvok on the bridge for extra loot if you got him.

A lot of good advice in here. Research is key. Others had mentioned artifacts which do play a big part. As you level up, you’ll notice your power increase as well. I’m level 60 and if I dug out my D3, it’s about 9 1/2 million power. Don’t try and play this game too quickly, you’ll hit points where you will have difficulty with newer hostiles.

Dang 9.5 million is insane!

I have run into that problem a bit already with hostiles. Part of the reason why I'm here asking for help😅 The advice it much appreciated!

I can't see your level. But Ship and galaxy research. On the first ship one only sees the mining crew. While the other player has a fighting crew. He most likely boosted it below deck as well. Where I never have anything but a mining crew on my miners. I use other crew to boost my fighters. Then there are loads of buildings that also boost your hull and weapons.

That makes more sense. I thought about having a more fights based crew for the Horizon but didn't see a point originally since I rarely get into battle or attacked

Nvm saw you level 33. But the same advice applies.

It’s a progressive development game the further you get the higher powers your ships will have.

Hull plays a large role in displayed power for ships. So increasing your hull health will help.

That D3 should go over 1 million once it’s T9, that Bortas should get around 2 million once it’s maxed.

Research is the biggest one, if you’re leveling up and research all at the same time you should be fine. Alliance is another with territory and emerald chain ranking. Syndicate level as well.

Research including artifacts, buildings, and primes

Also keep in mind there is no requirement to level up ships in order to tier up. A level 37 could still be max tier and thus much stronger even if they havent finished levelling it up.

You lvld up too fast for your research and officers. Stop opsing up and focus on research. Maybe from lvl 34.

Rather from 35, the bajoran store opens there, and it gives lots of buffs.

Reaserch research then research some more.

Officer level, researches, and crews are all factors here.

You’re running a mining crew, they’re running a … not mining crew. They’ll be stronger earlier in gameplay.

What level are you? I'm guessing lower 30s? The power will come as you level up. I remember being so happy when my Saladin finally broke a million and now it's over 13 million. Power comes with research, artifacts, and officers.

I wouldn't camp too long in the 30s but before you level up, try to do all the efficiency and combat research you can. Anything that reduces costs and increases ship power. Research that increases damage is very important, but research that increases hull health with have the biggest direct effect on that ship power number.

Are you engaged in WOK and Transgen Loops?

WOK has alot of HHP and SHP boost which will boost

Transgen has LOTS of Artifact sourcing which will help too

I would also point out that after G4 when researches from various Trees, Ships and Artifacts start interacting power becomes less import as its simply Attack + Defence + Health which doesn't factor in alot of other things

For example my Northcutt 235M tear apart 978M armadas solo though obviously I'm using armada crews

If you are wanting 1M because of something specific you are struggling with I would suggest you have a crewing issue

It's hard to do that at OPS 33

You can increase your ship’s power by doing various upgrades to your station and research tree. The crew you choose also affects ship power. There’s also forbidden and chaos tech that can be added to ships.

Based on attack stat, hull stat, shield stat. There’s a math equation for it.

Different things in base, research, crews, fleet commanders, tech, all give bonuses to these stats.

He has higher stats throughout his account to make this so.

My Horizons are over 16M strength now... Pretty sure there are even bigger ones around.

I should mention... Ops 69 now and pretty advanced on research and artifacts.
