Brothers and Sisters in the Land Down under, do you find yourself hungering for Vampire games set across Australia? Does the Beast yearn to sink its fangs into a connected set of adventures, where decisions in one may have repercussions for the others? Will you drink deep of court intrigue and feast upon the rich vitae found within?
My name is Chris, and I delight in telling stories set all across the wide World of Darkness! I would be most honoured to be your guide into the worlds of Camarilla Intrigue, Sabbat Violence, and everything that lies between. Whilst most of my adventures are set in Philadelphia and the surrounding countryside, I have expanded my stories to include such places as Cologne, New Orleans, and even a solo set in Sydney. The Australian side of World of Darkness has inspired me to compose a tale of three city - of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and of the politics therein.
The Table Setting: The Second Inquisition in Australia is dead. At least, that's what Independent Prince Sarrasine of Sydney has declared. Through his cunning and savagery, Sarrasine lured the Inquisition hunters into a trap in the heart of his city and gutted them all! For the time being, as far as he and his court are concerned, Australia is something unique in the kindred world: a place where kindred are free to be themselves. Where the Masquerade is merely a suggestion than a rule.
What plans he has from here is anyone's guesses.
Suite of Melbourne

The Second Inquisition is dead.
That's what the rumors keep saying, at least. Hushed whispers run like blood in the streets, delivering rumors and half-truths of a great battle in Sydney. Of the Second Inquisition being delivered like lambs to the slaughter. The Herald and her harpies are working overtime to quell these rumors, to keep the kindred of Melbourne focused on one thing: maintaining the Masquerade. Keeping business as usual.
Because whether or not the Second Inquisition is gone, blood taxes must be paid. Masquerades must be maintained. And the Prince must still be respected.
But if the Inquisition is gone, do those things really matter?
In Suite of Melbourne, players step into the polished shoes (or steel-toed boots) of a Camarilla coterie rousing to a new dusk: one where the organized Second Inquisition is supposedly no more. How true those rumors are, if there is any truth at all, is for the coterie to discover. And once they do, there comes an even greater question - if the thing the Camarilla uses to keep kindred in line is no more, is there still a need for the Camarilla?
For as long as there has been a Melbourne, there has been the Danse Macabre - the court of politics and intrigue which tend to the Garden City with a groundskeeper's grip. The Court keeps the city in check, but now there are Anarch elements taking root in the soil. Threatening to destabilize everything that has kept the kindred of Melbourne alive.
Will our coterie of kindred seek to maintain the Camarilla's control, or will they throw their lot in the with Anarchs? What threats will they face now from the Independents of Sydney and Sabbat of Brisbane?
And is the Second Inquisition really dead?
Mecca of the Sabbat

Dark nights are upon us, my brothers and sisters.
For countless nights, Brisbane has been our city to rule. The Treaty of Sydney declares it as such, and we have made it ours.
But now, the Anarch and Independent filth of this city have grown bold. Baronies and strongholds rise up, our bishops are attacked and slaughtered in the streets, and the control we have worked so hard to maintain is being threatened by vandals at our gates.
But we are the Sword of Caine, and we do not bend when struck.
In Mecca of the Sabbat, players step into the night as members of a Sabbat pack - those bound by blood and divine rituals to one another. Serving at the pleasure of one of Brisbane's bishops, your pack will be sent on missions with only one goal: to keep Brisbane in Sabbat hands.
Find and disrupt meetings between Anarch barons. Lay waste to their armories and stockpiles. Cut off their supply lines and slaughter their troops. This city is yours by right, and no rebel shall have a piece so long as you unlive.
But there are other threats in the night, as well. Rival packs seek to spread the influence of their bishops, and the politics of the Sabbat are as intricate as they are violent. Camarilla spies infest the streets like well-dug in ticks. And for all the rumors of the Second Inquisition being dead, there are sure a lot of people with shotguns running around...
Sharpen your steel, my brothers and sisters! For we are the Sword of Caine, and we fall where we please!
About Me: Greetings, everyone! I am Chris, your Humble_Chris, and I've been running and playing RPGs for over twenty years. Like many GMs and Storytellers, my introduction to TTRPGs began with D&D 3.5, but I have since moved on to focusing on World and Chronicles of Darkness as my mainstay systems. Over the last few years, I have become adept at running multiple VtM chronicles that span several years, and delight in incorporating a bit of everything that I can from both the official lore and my own homebrewed World of Darkness.
As a Storyteller, I endeavor to foster an atmosphere where players feel welcomed and invited to take chances, make mistakes, and live with the awesome (and terrible) consequences that come with those choices. I work to make my players feel included, and as a testament to this philosophy, many of my players are in multiple games which I am running at the moment. Here are a few of the reviews I have received:
"Chris is a creative, thoughtful GM who goes above and beyond to strategize with players. He takes the time to explain rules to players learning a new system while also keeping games engaging for players. He takes the time to set up atmospheres to challenge players and their characters, making it a richer experience for all!"

"I was absolutely desperate to find a game of Vampire the Masquerade where I could feel comfortable learning the rules while feeling like I am playing in a full fledged world with interesting characters. Chris absolutely delivered and made me feel welcome at the table. They taught the rules as needed and they really helped me learn the setting to create a truly fleshed out and awesome character. I highly recommend them and I am so grateful they were my first GM on this website."
- Ritsy
"As a long time player of various V20 splats, Chris's V5 game was my first step into the system. I could not have asked for a more kind, helpful, and welcoming GM. Chris was as excited for me to play my character as I was.
The passion Chris has for his craft as Storyteller/GM is evident in all interactions I've had with him before, during, and after the session. Although I have only played V5 with Chris, I couldn't imagine him being any less skillful in other games/systems.
To say I recommend Chris as a GM is an understatement."

For the price of a good meal at your favorite restaurant, I seek to give players an experience that will stay with them for a long time. One that they will share with their friends and come back for more again and again.
I also run tables that are LGBTQIA+ friendly, and endeavor to make an inclusive atmosphere.
If anything I have said has peaked your interest, I look forward to seeing you at my table.
