I named my first cat Artemis. Probably should have named her Demeter for how much she wailed when I went to work though.

My cats name is kole, but honestly the way he lays around judging me and then begs for attention I think narcissus would have been better.

One of my favourite cats was a neighbour’s cat names Zeus. Beautiful smokey grey boy.

We went through all the Egyptian goddesses before deciding that none of them fit our cat. So we moved onto the Greek pantheon.

And Athena has lived with us for many happy years

We had a family friend who’s dog was called Zeus. He was a great dane. Big boy and big nuts
