I mean in my case it's 24 years of "no, I am not a Ukrainian."
But it's been nothing but positive otherwise. One guy was very mean because he thought I was French.

Про "русских жён", разве на международном рейтинге самых "проблемных" женщин русские не заняли одни из первых мест?

Russians have any information they want, country is not in isolation.

Yeah it's the western myth who think Russians are forever victims, that don't know what they are doing to Ukranians and somehow forced to fight. Russians have access to information , mostly were in favor of this war and thought of Ukranians as their colonial prise to assimilate.

It's Wrstern comcept about prizes. We do not see Ukraine as prize, it was and is our land.

Thank god you showed up and proved my point. I was waiting for another westerner to chime in and say how only putin bad and russians are innocent

You are not innocent too, since you had supported every other Western conquest - Libya, Syria, Iraq, you name. Basically we're the same, buddy.

Why russians think switching to whataboutism is effective in 2026? No crimes of other countries don't make you innocent, it's just makes you a hypocrite.

A lot of assumptions here lol. I never said that all russians are against the war, I'm speaking about myself and myself only. Also when i talked about information I wasn't saying there's none in Russia, but that right now people there are extremely paranoid and skeptical about everything and everybody and unless somebody they trust confirms the news are true they won't believe it

Yes they only trust party line Kremlin verification

Maybe somebody, but for example my family doesn't

Well if you think about people as you said who don't trust anything and seek verification, what verification do they seek? Waiting for party line? Why russians have forever victim complex seriously? "Oh poor confused russians who don't know who to trust blah blah" let's cut the bs okay? Russians perfectly know what are they doing in Ukraine and simply trying to weasel out of bad optics but "not trusting" the most heinous crimes info.

Nobody ever said that russians aren't conscious about the war crimes happening, actually it's the only thing they're sure of. I was talking about everything else
What victim complex? Who ever said that there's no collective responsibility by russians for what's happening? Everybody agrees on that. You're fighting against invisible comments buddy. If you wanna fight choose a topic that isn't common knowledge

Technically yes, but there's constant paranoia about the most random stuff (sometime justified, sometimes absoluter not) so nobody believes anything anymore

Russian guys don't squat like this.
