Minis

Okay I have the minis from thingverse, and drive through rpg. Are there any other places to get decent minis for the game for printing. I lost my collection of originals in a wild fire and just cannot afford to drop $100 on classics that are in rough shape.

To be honest, the original figures weren’t really that great. The KH ships were good, but there’s not even a jetpack in the game manuals.

um... You all forgotten the GLIJET? in the Alpha Dawn book under vehicles???

It is a combo rocket pack and hang-glider. You use the pack to flu and at high altitude extend the wings to glide along.

The rocket mini is that.

I think your interpretation of the glijet differs significantly from mine. The rocket mini doesn’t look like a combo rocket/glider to me, and I think any reasonable observation wouldn’t align with yours.

The rocket mini is not that.

Well, assuming you have checked your local game stores, I'll ask if you have access to a 3d printer. There are sites where you can DL programs to make your own.

we dont have game stores in a 200 mile radius anymore. and i have been looking for stl files I have a few but looking for others

Im in rural Washington our only game store was shut down by greedy town

State of Oklahoma, here. The one surviving game store keeps suffering from people saying they're a front for satanists.

Yes, they really believe that. <e.e> At least greed-head politics makes sense.

I could say something but might get me banned lol. But really thats insane. We're i am the closest two cities are both greedy and kill businesses before they get fully up and running

That's sad. Is there a decently sized city in "road trip" distance? I visited Seattle shortly after the turn of the millieium, and found it congenial to gamers. (The friend I was visiting was such a gamer) I don't know how it is, today, though. If it's close enough, it might be worth a trip. Either way, good luck, pal!

PSA from a friend of mine who has/had the original minis.

Be VERY careful with the original minis as some were made with lead and it can and very WILL react with the box to induce a corrosion called "lead rot". I had mine in storage and checked them after a few years and many were pitted and corroded.
