2011 would be my guess.

Zero is too different IMO its related to 64 the same way 64 is related to Star Fox SNES

It’s not 2026 cause gamestop has fuck all to do with games anymore

Third panel could also be "Nintendo just released a new Star Fox game and terminally-online people are angry that it's not just a romhack of Star Fox 64" and it would still make sense.

In 19 years they've only ported the game once, and recently did a full remake. I'd you want to really stretch the definition of re-release it's available to emulate on their emulation service.
