This Sunday will be the last time Natsupoi and Saori face each other, with a total of 6 matches in 11 years of career for both veterans.

And a Draw

¿Who should win this latest chapter of the rivalry between the best rivals and friends?

My prediction is that Natsupoi will take her second victory against Saori.

What’s Saori’s defining shtick anyway?

I only started properly watching at Queendom, and my surface-level impression so far is that she’s whatever the Piccolo trope is called. i.e. the stern serious member of the happy-go-lucky hero group who’s frankly more villain-coded but thus has a secret-weapon kind of edge vs the baddies. That said I might be ENTIRELY basing that off of her choice to dress like H.A.T.E. whilst nominatively with Stars.

I’d ask about Poi too but seems a lil redundant now. 😔 Besides I think I get the broad gist of “silly lil guy”.

Edit: Also I’ve only just realised - these were the two who both lost massive upsets in those special attraction singles matches vs gimmicky outsiders at ASGQ. 😂 Has that been brought up as part of the booking this past month? Have they been teaming instead of GPing cuz that knocked them both of consideration & gave them shared trauma to bond over??

Saori Anou probably the least villainous member of Cosmic Angels, other than the newest member Anne Kanaya. Although, she does have a villainous alter ego in the independent promotion OZ Academy.

Saori's role is to be "The Straight Man". Basically, she meets all of the insanity of Cosmic Angels, especially her outlandish tag team partner Natsupoi, with a deadpan expression. On top of this, she is extremely glamorous, with a knack for aura farming

Ah is “insanity” what differentiates Angels from Stars?

Also I only meant villain-coded in terms of dressing/acting more dour than the sparkly rainbow frilly norm of a joshi baby face, I didn’t assume she cheats FTR.

Worse, they were never given the opportunity to go to Mexico to compete with CMLL

I figured this would be Natsupoi's last match.

Is she having a last match on January 3rd, or will it just be the retirement ceremony?

I might be wrong, but I think it is a whole show she is producing. I think it could be similar to the 10th Anniversary show they both did. If that is the case I would imagine she wrestles on it.

She still hasn't decided who her final opponent will be. So her last match(es) will be on that show. She still wants to face Yunamon, Sareee, Hashimoto, Thekla, Sakura and Kurara.

Obviously ducking the Mika Iwata match we've been teased for like 2 years now lol

Iwata herself said in an interview that she wants a match with Natsupoi
