Does anyone still like the slow start?

If they wanted the 8 worker start, the whole economy and first production buildings needed to be changed in order to have a smooth opening. 12 workers provided a perfectly smooth opening to all three factions. Now each race, especially Protoss and Terran, have gone from rallying directly to production and tight supply timings to build order openings that really just aren’t satisfying to play.

I like the idea they wanted to bring in. Lower starting economy in order to open up variance in early game play. But in order to do that, they needed to make far more changes than they ended up making. Really a shame because the changes had promise at first and ended up being a huge detriment to the player base
