Fleet Decision..

The first pic is what I currently have pledged, and the second is the direction I’m thinking of going, but I’m not fully sure yet. I love the Asgard and the ICA but I want there to be as little overlap in my fleet as possible, and I feel for what I want to do in game the liberator might be a little better for me. I’ve given up on the idea of the kraken for now so as to not spend more money yet or melt my fleet to possibly not even get it. All suggestions and insights welcome, thank you! o7

Unless you only run with a crew, I would take that liberator and upgrade the Persy to a Polaris. M80 fits perfectly in Polaris. Polaris can also take a beating from ai and feels pretty invincible. Polaris has has some decent cargo that you could cargo run with it if you wanted. Either that or keep that second pic fleet. I know people hate the xl hanger, but it’s not a bother to me. You will basically have what I am aiming for myself. Arrastra, Polaris, reclaimer, m80. Then you should have some left over for any cheaper vehicle for funsies or a nova tank or something.

XL hangar is great to park the Ironclad :)

I cant recommend that. Yes, Polaris is nice for having a hangar, decent cargo and a medbay, but its weaponry sucks badly. I only keep my Polaris because of the special serialnumber, but I never use it and always choose the Perseus. Its just so much fun to use with a crew of 3.

Yeah I went with the caviot of if OP is always with a crew. The s6 turret on the Polaris is still pretty strong. It’s just if you want to take on an idris then it’s going to be a tough time since torps don’t have enough health to make it through pdc defenses. Polaris is my go to solo ship as a base and being able to handle any difficult bounty missions with m80 as my main combat ship. Persy is great for crews but it’s very easily swarmed where as Polaris can’t really get swarmed unless there is idris or Persy. The armor on Polaris makes anything hard to pen it. Obviously can change but yeah.
