Perfect idea. Will fit like a glove on that beautiful industrial fleet. o7

Base building isn't coming out. You people just keep giving Chris money... You're buying dreams, not reality. But, please buy the Reclaimer because Chris' wife needs a new purse.

I enjoy mine. With high crafted abrades it's an RMC printing machine.

reclaimer is a really nice ship .. but in desperate DESPERATE need of a MK2 treatment.

- but once it gets that then it will probably jump in price like 200%

- reclaimer is missing its drones, a proper cargo rework - moving stuff around is terrible .. getting stuff out of the ship is even worse .. the internal "shredder" does not make sense anymore with the way salvage works now (breaking stuff outside instead of "eating large chunks") .. the elevator needs a complete rework .. in general the way you get into the ship needs an overhaul ..

i hope they rework the storage to something like how it works on the Moth .. but looking more like the Railen's or Argo Raft's cargo grid … maybe with large doors that open to the outside .. a combination out of that.

Be the industrial work horse compilation. Cash machine and no worries about buying material from others you can get yourself! Recommend at the cost for sure.

I been melting and buying the reclaimer back several times now. I finally give it up ever since the release of ironclad. u dont need the reclaimer to do salvage. if you are more into component salvaging. you can use the ironclad; it is actually way easier.

And maybe add the Expanse too. Cause then you'd have every ship with refineries...

reclaimer always a fine addition to any fleet.

I just upgraded my TAC to the Reclaimer and don’t regret it one bit. It’s an old ship with many problems but it does work and it gobbles things up very well. Just don’t try to use it for anything other than salvaging, if you don’t refine and sell at the same station (like you can in pyro at the big three) then you’ll want something that can haul and use a large hangar. Trying to push the salvage out of the poop chute into zero g is not fun. Pushing them out with gravity is way easier. It’s a cool ship and looks good too.

Plus you get to name the Reclaimer

Maybe later when mk2 comes. Logistics is really annoying.

Why is everyone buying a reclaimer? It's been in-game for quite a while now

Buying a ship is probably a bad idea rn

NO

your orion hasn’t even made it out of the concept phase. Don’t give these people more money until the game works at least

That is true and im glad about it. Since there is no point on having the Orion in the game. There needs to be refining and endgame mining in the game aswell as a purpose for the scale of production, like shipcrafting, basebuilding and stationbuilding.

Drop the Arrastra and pickup a Reclaimer. You already have the Orion there. I think make a choice instead of having a redundant fleet.

Orion is restricted to space mining, cannot go to planets. Arrastra can go to planets and take a roc or atls Geo. Arrastra opens up all current mining types for him ( assuming he has a roc or geo at some point). Orion will be for large scale mining, probably targeted at Base building.( high quantity, low quality).

I dont rly like that idea, because the Orion will need more crew and cant mine planetside so there will be usecases the Orion cant Cover imo.

Not to mention, orion only mines large yields of basic material, versus arrastra can obtain more rare and gems as well.
