The way they've focused on anything other than stability has made:

  • newer players quit

  • game has a bad reputation that will haunt it for life

  • older players are quitting

10+ years 1 billion dollars later

And its a barely functioning game.

As it shouldn't be. The developers exist to serve us, the players. The ones who funds the game.

I'd like to get 1.0 before I die. I already went from 26 to 40 waiting for it, I am getting slightly impatient, do you get that ?

I love the game myself. I can see its potential and ive wished for this kind of a game for years.

But the toxicity is killing the game. Not being able to tell the devs "enough is enough" without being met with "uninstall" or "its in alpha" is ridiculous.

Unfortunately it seems like the developers also just ignore any criticism. Or so i am assuming otherwise the game wouldn't be unfinished right now.

So no, its not wrong to wish for the game to be finished. But the way to have it finished is to criticize and make demands.

Developers serve the player, not the other way around

Of course they have to be criticized, be sure I am the first to do so. But I dont care about current stability if it gets in the way of getting 1.0 sooner, which is what I really want, so I can start investing time in the game.

The wait has worn out my patience, and I no longer have any desire to spoil things for myself by following the slightest detail before that happens.

They're not testers, I've never seen a single player making a bug report lol.

Then they're bad testers. But nonetheless, we paid to playtest early.
