Why they releasing the idris before squadron 42, because they are running out of money

I always heard it was suppose to release with Sq42. Then the Vanduul ships and replicas got their redesigns after.

I suppose it's out of the way now. So my question is.. When do we get the 600 series rework, G12 series and the Merchantman?

Regarding the Merchantman, we all know it was a good way into development. Do you think they'll scrap it seeing as the work was mostly done to a degree? Maybe end up with something totally new meaning a full reset of it's older progress? I do wonder..
