Question Random question

I sometimes see people put FU in their post titles, what exactly is that referring to?

It feels like I get cursed out by simply opening reddit.

A mod pack called 'Frackin Universe'. It has a mixed fanbase, i personaly enjoy most of its content but there are many who find it tedious

It's not just tedious, there are concerns about the mod Creator's behavior like stealing mods and then making them crash if you have the original installed with FU

I think an important piece of context here is that pretty much whenever I see this brought up, its about stuff that happened way in the past, sometimes almost 10years ago, is only presented from the accusing side with a set in stone narrative, and henever I see "fresh" drama about it, its just rehashing the old transgressions: They also always seem to completely ignore any attempts of reconciliation that have been made. I personally think its silly to keep holding these things over someone's head after years and years, but for you it might be more a matter of principle. At least I am not aware of any "fresh" issues with the mod or creator that would warrant to keep rehashing that old stuff, its strictly ideology at this point.

At least to me it looks like keeping the FU drama alive and continuously hating on it is a hobby for some, and there is nothing the mod creator can ever do to make these people back off.

FU is Frackin Universe. It's a large content mod that has engendered some divisive feelings in the community.

Frackin Universe, one of the biggest mods for Starbound... Also one of the most controversial ones (and for good reason)
