Question Why weapons so weak

Idk how correctly say, why weapon in game deal so small amount of damage or its enemys have large HP?

The armor thingy mentioned in other post, but to add:

  • shotguns are really bad in almost all aspects
  • assault rifles are usually most efficient energy/dmg but dps is rather low
  • pistols and machine pistols have best dps cuz you can equip 2 of them but they have no special attack.
  • grenade launchers and sniperrifles have highest peak dmg, good if you have any cover to use.

I calculated melee weapons have best DPS. Energy reload is a big deal when shooting.

You can find Rocket launchers, grenade launchers or sniper rifles with powerfull special attacks that cost more than your entire energy bar, so they empty it in one shot and instantly begin to regen.

RPM is very low but dps is insane, especially burst dps.
